Worked perfectly right out of the box. The instructions could be improved. 5/16th drill bit to be used for holes but shipped 1/4” screws for insert
anchors. But the transformer with it’s features is absolutely wonderful.. It has been installed for several weeks and no problems. I have it connected
to 6 led (1 watt) Hampton bay path lights using 14 gauge wiring (50’ft). Weather conditions has been harsh: heavy rain, 17 degree temps and they
come on and go off using Auto(dusk to dawn) photocell feature. I am very pleased with the purchase.

I highly recommend this unit for outdoor landscape lighting. When my old transformer died, 100 Watt unit, I first looked for something comparable. However, when I actually added up today’s watt consumption of the LED landscape lights, I realized I did not need that large of a transformer anymore. This allowed me not only to reduce the replacement cost but also the ongoing operational cost.

I’ve been using this transformer timer for about 2 years now and have not had any issues with it at all. Before I bought this unit,I had no prior knowledge about low voltage lighting systems at all, yet the setup was very easy and quick to install (even for a novice). The internal memory is wiped if there’s a storm but the setup is so easy so no problem.
